Pakatan Perak Schizophrenic?
- After blatantly ignoring the views of not just state BN legislators, but even BN sympathisers among community leaders when they were in power, now that the courts have decided for BN's DS Dr Zambry's state government, Nizar and co have gone back to their pre-PRU12 claims of wanting to 'work with' BN?
- Whilst they are willing to 'work with' the Perak BN government, DS Nizar laid down 'conditions' if BN 'wants' their cooperation! Wah, as if Pakatan Perak will be doing the BN government a favour by 'working with' DS Dr Zambry's team. Why, DS Nizar wants to claim joint credit is it when BN Perak successfully runs the state? Why, Ngeh and Nga just advised Nizar that DS Dr Zambry have FDI coming into the state soon, despite Pakatan's lies is it?
- Whilst Pakatan Perak wants to 'work with' DS Dr Zambry, DS Nizar also states that,"...but we (Pakatan Rakyat) are not conceding." So, which is it, is Pakatan happy to accept the court ruling by 'working with' BN in Perak, or are they rejecting the court ruling? The two scenarios are mutually exclusive! In the meantime, DS Nizar and an Ipoh MP from the DAP is clearly opposed to the court's position, but in doing so, may have bitten off too much to chew:
- We saw symptoms of this Pakatan Perak schizophrenia even when they were in power. They had in the past accused BN of abuse of power and corruption, then when they were in power, timber concessions were given to Pakatan leaders in the state, even those who knew nothing about the business. So ignorant were they that they turned to BN members from the business to develop the timber concessions! Schizo!

Actually, I don't really know if being Schizo is necessarily that bad for a politician. Certainly it isn't as bad as being Incompetent or a Hypocrite. At least Pakatan Perak have a better excuse for not fulfilling their promises or for not behaving in a civilised manner... THEY"RE NUTS! But of course, in the end, it is up to the people of Perak to truly judge them for what they are...

Mari Berceramah Kepada BTN...

Litany Of Incompetence Continues In Selangor... But It's OK! They Have A RM 1 Economic Advisor Now!
- A Selangor Pakatan ADUN has decided that the Malaysian government is wasting money when engaging a top British coroner to witness the post-mortem of the exhumed body of Teoh Beng Hock. This is likely because the coroner, whilst previously engaged in high profile cases such as the death of Princess Diana and victims of war crimes, is not Thai, has boring coloured hair and is not in the habit of accusing the police of all sorts of nonsense.
- Still on Teoh's case, to assist in their time of need, Pakatan has of course ensured Teoh's family is being represented by the best and most impartial lawyer they can think of... Gobind Singh Deo! Must be impartial mah, he is after all a DAP ADUN! Of course if it is true Teoh's death was related to some DAP wrong-doing, Gobind will do the 'right thing'! Of course, of course... And just look at the hair colour of the coroner Gobind picked!
- In the meantime, even before the conclusion of Teoh's inquest, Pakatan has achieved another success in 'efforts to eradicate' corruption in Malaysia! Thanks to the hard work of DAP leaders especially, the High Court has ruled that the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) can only interogate witnesses during office hours! It is believed this will surely lead to more corrupt individuals being convicted, Pakatan hopes those from BN...
- The Selangor state has decided that their propaganda is not failing because of their own incompetence, but due to the presence of mainstream media in their press conferences. This has led to expulsions of 'pro-BN' media from Pakatan related press conferences in the state. Just to make a point though, the suspect 'pro-BN' reporters are still invited, but are then expelled from the press conferences just prior to their beginning ...
- In the same vein, all Selangor government staff and students from Selangor state owned institutions cannot join 'BTN' courses any more. Obviously this is because Pakatan feels threatened by BTN running their 1-2 week courses, as it would leave them only 50-51 weeks in the year to correct BTN's 'propaganda', which is not enough! Many are now wondering if Selangor students will be blocked from going for National Service!
- In the meantime, crime is still rife in the PJ area, despite the promises of Pakatan leaders that they would be able to cut crime better than BN. Perhaps this is because Pakatan have a better record of working with the police? (LOL!) Unfortunately, these promises have still not been delivered, however, never fear, at least the MPPJ have managed to crack down on all those excessive billborads that were all over the place before this!
- In addition, Muslims in Selangor can breath easy that only 'certified' persons may give religious sermons in the state. Of course, this may put UIAM and USIM in some danger as no one really knows if their lecturers are 'certified' according to JAIS' interpretation. But don't worry, as JAIS is so confident they know what they are doing that they are already charging a former mufti for preaching without being certified...

Nevertheless, despite all their demonstrated folly, Selangor Pakatan has hope! They will soon receive invaluable guidance from the world's most high-value 'economic adviser', for RM 1 mah! Cheap, cheap! I am sure they can arrange for the adviser to be imprisoned in Selangor for 'easy consultation' if ..., and no one will complain about him being a 'highly paid' fellow. Of course, you would only pay high for good value, as it almost never comes cheap...

Budget 2010: Suspicious Quality Of Criticism Detected...
- DS Anwar was reading from text, and the material must have been very unfamiliar as he seemed to stutter in presenting some technical stuff. he is a very practiced parrot though, so many probably would forgive him this.
- DS Anwar was more comfortable then speaking off the cuff, without aid of the text and all the technical economics material, speaking about 'transparency' and 'governance'. Same old story then, with no real criticism of the budget's salient points...
- DS Anwar also made mistakes ala-Lim Kit Siang, but on credit card taxes rather than TV licenses. He complains that some 2 Million rakyat now have to pay taxes on credit cards, stating this as being 'significant', as opposed to 'small' benefits elsewhere. Hmmm, I get a RM500 tax rebate for my broadband in 2010, the smallest of the benefits, and only have to pay ~RM200 of credit card taxes... and only the high income folk pay... Hmmm...
- Even as DS Anwar attempts to criticise by being 'global', he fails. E.g. he compares Malaysia's reduced ability to attract FDI to China and India's supposed recent strength. In the first place, what he is impliying is WRONG, all countries have suffered reduced cross-border investments over the course of the crisis, and China particularly weathered it the same way as Malaysia, by increased local activity. The there is size of economy, phasing, etc...

Isu Perpindahan Kuil Ke Seksyen 23 Berkait Rasuah?
Apakah niat kerajaan Selangor sebenarnya?Haruskah MACC bertanya?

Has The Selangor State Government Lost The Plot?
Today, we saw the unveiling of yet another strange policy of the state, of course reported by the pro-Pakatan newspaper, The Sun, as some sort of breakthrough of things "Democratic". The Sun had it as its main headline (admitting again which side of the policial divide they stand) whilst the other, less sensational and more sensible mainstream press didn't see any merit in even reporting it! Something to do with making making the State Legislature 'more independent'.
???
I had a look at what this new policy was 'delivering' to the Rakyat, and this is what I interpret from the way it's described:
- The state assembly will now have its own budget and committee to manage its administration. It will not have to 'rely' on the state government. Comment: Isn't the state government made up of the legislature, indeed making up it's majority? In actual fact, the state government is NOT independent of the state assembly! So, other than allowing Pakatan to now appoint more of its ADUNs into 'positions' in the 'assembly management', how does this benefit the Rakyat?
- The state assembly now can manage its assets independently. Comment: Hmmm... the state assembly is supposed to be fully funded by the state government. Its job is to pass state laws, act as a voice of the people as check-and-balance to the state government, so, why does it need assets? It has assets mah? Wah... maybe this way Pakatan can sapu the people's money more easily, via the state assembly's 'new management and independence'!
- The state assembly now will have a committee managed by the Speaker and will have members of both sides of the political divide in it. Comment: So, who really runs the place? Where is the state secretary and other civil servants in the management of the assembly? Are they doing this to try and take power from the civil servants charged with managing the assembly's workings under the auspices of the Sultan? Are they trying to create a barrier to what happened in Perak? How is that more democratic? And the poeple?
- Continued rising crime in Selangor!
- Cleaning up the exco from all negative influences, especially criminal elements, real or percieved.
- Clearing up the beer sales issue.
- Figuring out how to run the state's finances properly so that they don't need to sapu the Baitulmal (Muslim charity/zakat) money!
- etc
- etc
- ...
- ad nauseum
